- 1 cup plain almond milk, water, or fat-free milk
- 1 small banana or 1⁄2 of a medium banana, frozen if desired
- 1 scoop (2 tablespoons) chocolate protein powder (whey)
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed or flax oil
Combine almond milk, banana, protein powder, and flaxseed in a blender. Cover and blend until smooth. For a thicker shake, use less liquid. For an icier shake, add ice. Serves 1.
